
Grilled cheese but make it… adulting? COUNT US IN! We took everyones favorite childhood snack and added a lil flair to it! This caprese panini is filled with gooey melted mozzarella, fresh tomato, basil and balsamic glaze between two perfectly crisp pieces of bread. Not only is this recipe to die for, it is also protein-packed, vegetarian, and easy to make!
What you need
- 2 slices of Eat Me Guilt Free Protein Bread (packed with 12G of protein)
- 2oz of mozzarella cheese
- 1 large tomato slice
- 6 basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze
- Salt to taste
What to do
- Top a slice of bread with mozzarella, tomato slice, basil and drizzle balsamic glaze, adding salt as you desire
- Top with the other slice and place in a preheated panini press
- Cook for about 5 minutes until bread is crisp and cheese is melted
- Serve warm and enjoy!
