
You can now have your favorite sandwich for breakfast. We took the classic BLT and turned it into the perfect breakfast food! This protein-packed breakfast has lettuce, tomato, bacon, egg, and avocado layered between two perfectly toasted slices of bread!
What you’ll need
- 2 slices of Eat Me Guilt Free Protein Bread
- 2 leaves of lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- 2 or 3 slices of bacon (depending on your mood)
- 1 egg
- ½ avocado
What you’ll do
- Take your bacon out of the fridge and let it rest until room temperature
- Preheat a skillet on medium heat and add the bacon
- Cook for 5-10 minutes depending on how crispy you want it, flipping halfway through
- Once cooked, let your bacon cool on paper towels to absorb the excess oil
- Preheat a clean pan on medium heat, add butter, and then crack the egg into the pan
- Cook for 6 minutes, keeping yolk runny and then set aside
- In the same pan toast the bread for 2 minutes on each side until crisp
- Remove the bread and let cool for a minute
- Assemble the sandwich stacking the lettuce, tomato, egg, bacon, and avocado
- Add salt and pepper to taste, then serve!
